Therapeutic Approach and Philosophy

I usually begin our sessions by exploring your experiences—both past and present—so that we can collaboratively identify areas of focus to help enhance your quality of life. I aim to create space for both reflection and the practical application of new strategies to address any challenges you may be facing. I can adapt sessions for long-term health conditions and neurodiversity needs.

It can be overwhelming knowing where to start with therapy, understanding what modality is best for you, and finding someone who you feel comfortable with. I provide a safe, non-judgmental and compassionate space for my clients. Please do reach out if you have any questions or want to see how we might work together.

A Sense of the Therapist’s Personality

I have spent a lot of time reflecting on who I am as a practitioner and an individual. I am a warm and caring person with a friendly nature. I value stability, support and teamwork, and feel passionate about helping others. I can be vulnerable, which fosters this in others. I also thrive on connections, friendships, and I love animals.

Boundaries and Confidentiality

I may be required to break confidentiality if I consider that there is a risk you may harm yourself or others. I am required to break confidentiality if I become aware of acts of terrorism, safeguarding concerns, or illegal activity. Should any of these issues arise, I will discuss them with you first. I may take notes during our sessions and will keep these securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018). Clinical notes are stored on “BACPAC” a note-keeping service that has the same protections in place as the NHS.

Practical Info

I offer remote appointments using Microsoft Teams.

My fees are £80 per hourly sessions. Fees are to be paid up to 24 hours before the

appointment or the session does not go ahead, and the booking is cancelled.

I require 24 hours of notice for cancellations. Notice less than 24 hours is considered

short notice and will mean the session is chargeable.

Sessions tend to be booked weekly, but if you require sessions less frequently, this can be discussed.
